Cut Out Centering Scale Fence for Air Clamps
The Cut Out Centering Scale Fence is for PantoRouters already equipped with the black rectangular fence and want to use the Universal Clamp Base with Air Clamp for tenons, box joints and dovetails. The cut out allows the clamp base to get closer to the workpiece but not protrude beyond the front of the table.
This is the fence only and does not come with the square section engraved with the scale that rides in the back edge of the table. Installation requires removing your existing fence section with the same extrusion profile as the new fence and installing this cut out version using the same two inserts and screws. This fence can be used for all operations where the workpiece is to the operator’s side of the fence.
While the Universal Base with Lever Clamp can also be used with this cut out fence, it’s easy to use our traditional lever clamps in the first slot from the front edge of the table. The Universal Clamps should always be used in the second slot or farther from the front edge so it’s never protruding from the front of the table, where the router bit or dust hood could accidentally contact it.
