Tala Bench

Sam Hunt of Cordova Woodworking in BC has created the Tala Bench, which is inspired by Japanese Minimalism and has no shortage of details.

The Tala Bench is a minimal-Japanese-inspired design that is detailed with exposed joinery throughout. The Tala Bench features a suite of joinery. including Bridle Joints, Half Lap, and Mortise and Tenon.

Both the bridle and stretcher tenons are angled joints, adding a fun challenge to this build while making the design more dynamic. It is a stunning handmade bench with clean lines and soft rounded edges. Shown in Ash.
