Stiffening Bars for Aluminum Table
Stiffening Bars for the Aluminum Table are required for use of any clamp that does not align with the slots in the table. The Stiffening Bar set is mounted underneath the table and includes two heavy-duty bars with screws and slot inserts . These bars protect the table and your workpiece from moving and must be purchased along with your first order of either Universal Air Clamps or Universal Lever Clamps. Only one set is required per PantoRouter® table, and these can be left in place for all operations. The clamp “Packs” have these stiffeners included while the “Sets” do not.
Installing the Stiffening Bars takes about five minutes and is done only once. The bars keep the table flat and they do not interfere with any PantoRouter® operations as they are fixed to the bottom of the table. The table can still be rotated if the front edge is damaged and can still be flipped if the bars are removed and added to the reverse side of the table.
