Auxiliary Table
Auxiliary Table
The Auxiliary Table is one of the essential accessories for the PantoRouter®. There are numerous uses for the Auxiliary table where the pantograph is locked in a fixed position and the workpiece is passed over the bit, such as making dados and rabbets. Stopped dados and rabbets are especially easy and safer than cutting them on a router table. It’s easier to see the starting and stopping point and you’re moving the workpiece in from the side instead dropping down onto the spinning bit. The workpiece is also better supported since it’s resting flat on the table with gravity acting in your favor.
The Auxiliary Table is also great for beveling and shaping edges, making box joints of any size, applying finger grooves in a cutting board and many more uses. It can even be used as a mini jointer for pieces too small to safely joint on your full-size jointer.
The Auxiliary Table is shipped flat-packed. There’s a small amount of preparation recommended before the components are screwed together and ready for use. We recommend lightly sanding and coating with polyurethane wipe-on finish for durability and to reduce friction. The assembly video shows the process start to finish.
