Louver Project

Submitted by: Phil B.

Project Description:

This boat, a 31' John Atkin-designed gaff cutter, was built in Maine and circumnavigated by a couple who were in their 80's when they completed the trip! The boat's name is Tusitala, a Samoan word for 'teller of stories', a name given to Robert Louis Stevenson when he moved to Samoa.

The galley was redone with khaya, an African mahogany, replacing the (unbelievably) painted Masonite sliding doors someone had installed at some point. (Not original!).

Tell us how you used the PantoRouter in this project:

The PantoRouter was used to make the louvers shown in the galley.
